Job summary

PWS TECHNICAL SERVICES (UK) LTD is seeking a Contracts Engineer with experience in piling, foundations or ground engineering to lead the safe, timely and profitable delivery of multiple projects. The role involves supporting the Contracts Manager and managing a site-based team across concurrent contracts.

As part of the team you will plan, programme and deliver contracts, review estimates for buildability, attend client meetings, and ensure QA, RAMS and contractual requirements are met while

Qualifications

• Experience in contracts, projects or site roles in piling, foundations or ground engineering.
• Diplomatic yet hands-on approach to clients, sub-contractors and teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with strong planning and prioritisation.
• Understanding of contracting processes and ability to deliver technically and commercially.

Responsibilities

• Plan, programme and deliver contracts with regional team and subcontractors.
• Review estimates and designs for buildability and lead projects from order to completion.
• Attend pre-contract and site meetings to ensure smooth contract execution.
• Inspect works to QA procedures and specifications.
• Ensure HSEQ plans and RAMS are prepared.
• Provide progress reports and propose improvements to enable successful delivery.
• Contribute technical and operational input into estimates.
• Assist in pre-tender proposals.
• Provide information to support variations and final accounts.
• Carry out toolbox talks.
