Job summary

Parker Jones Group Ltd seeks a Contracts Director to lead our contract management across multiple civil engineering projects. You will oversee negotiation, drafting, and execution of complex contracts while ensuring compliance and strategic alignment with project goals.

The role requires strong leadership, risk management, and excellent communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams. A driving licence is preferred for site visits.

Qualifications

• Extensive contract management experience in civil engineering or construction.
• Proven leadership of contract teams and stakeholders.
• Strong negotiation and drafting skills with compliance focus.
• Proficient in MS Project and MS Office for tracking and documentation.
• Willingness to travel to project sites; driving licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, review, and negotiation of contracts for large projects.
• Manage a team of contract specialists, mentoring and evaluating performance.
• Collaborate with project managers, legal, procurement, and stakeholders to align strategies.
• Oversee contract lifecycle using MS Project and Microsoft Office tools.
• Develop and implement contract management policies for consistency and efficiency.
• Conduct risk assessments and address issues to prevent escalations.
• Maintain organized records for audit readiness and easy retrieval.
