Our client is seeking a Contracts & Cost Control Administrator to join their team on a major CCUS project in Liverpool Bay area, where you will play a crucial role in managing contracts and controlling costs effectively.

Role Overview

  • Support the Contract Holder in contract management activities including purchase requisition preparation and service order uploads in SAP.
  • Verify service tickets and manage day-to-day contracts, ensuring formal communication with contractors.
  • Review invoices for compliance with contract documents and maintain an invoice and costs log.
  • Assist in budget forecasting and support the change management process.
  • Liaise with the Procurement department for contract handover and claim management.
  • Track variation orders proposals and contractual communications.
  • Ensure costs are monitored and provide insights for efficient management.
  • Execute cost controls accurately and prepare timely project cost reports.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Proficient in PC software including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of SAP for contract administration.
  • Strong administration skills with considerable experience in contracts administration within Oil and Gas projects.
  • Experience in cost control and reporting.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret technical, financial, and legal documents.
  • Excellent report writing skills conforming to prescribed styles.

Education & Experience

  • Educated to 'A' level with 5 years of experience or a university degree.
