Job description

Are you a proven Contracts & Tender Coordinator with a track record of administering NHS agreements and delivering accurate, compliant tender submissions in a healthcare or medical products environment?

Do you thrive on managing contract renewals, pricing integrity on SAP, and coordinating cross-functional inputs to hit demanding tender deadlines?

This is a hands‑on opportunity to sit at the centre of high‑impact NHS contracting activity—where your accuracy, pace and stakeholder management directly influence commercial outcomes. If you want a role with real responsibility and visibility, read on.

The Opportunity

Join a values‑led organisation with a strong patient‑focused purpose and a culture built on professionalism, collaboration and doing the right thing. You’ll be supported by experienced commercial and operational teams and given the trust to take ownership of critical contract and tender activity. This employer is known for high standards, clear processes, and a genuine commitment to quality—making it a compelling environment for someone who enjoys precision, accountability, and working with respected healthcare partners.

The Role

You will administer customer contracts at National, Regional and Trust level, coordinating renewals and expiry activity, implementing and maintaining pricing, monitoring compliance with volume estimates or patient requirements, and responding to pricing queries. You’ll also manage the end‑to‑end process for tenders advertised via Contracts Finder—maintaining logs, coordinating inputs from internal stakeholders, submitting responses to buyers, tracking outcomes, and supporting contract implementation where successful.

Day‑to‑day
  • Identify and apply for relevant tenders, ensuring key stakeholders are engaged from the outset
  • Coordinate internal responses (commercial, technical and operational), set deadlines, and drive timely completion
  • Complete standard tender sections, collate inputs, and submit final tender responses—ensuring receipt and accurate logging
  • Prepare quotations, price confirmations and customer correspondence on behalf of the Sales Team
  • Maintain contract/agreement pricing accurately on SAP, including adjustments following renewal, award, or loss
  • Produce and distribute contract expiry reporting to sales teams and monitor compliance
  • Resolve internal and external pricing queries, validate against contract commitments, and raise credit/debit approval paperwork where required
  • Build effective working relationships with NHS buyers, budget holders and other external stakeholders
  • Participate in relevant business stream and sales meetings when required, and provide cover for absence/leave as needed
You will have the following qualifications & experience
  • Proven experience coordinating NHS tenders and contract administration within healthcare, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, nutrition, homecare services, or a similar regulated environment
  • Expert ability to manage pricing integrity, contract data, and documentation with strong attention to detail
  • Proven capability using Microsoft Office and maintaining pricing/contract information on SAP (or equivalent ERP)
  • Strong analytical and numerate skills, with the ability to monitor usage and support margin calculations for tenders/quotations using computer tools
  • Confident, concise communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively by phone and in person with internal teams and external NHS stakeholders
  • Proven ability to write clear, professional customer‑facing correspondence to a high standard of English
  • Extensive organisation and time management skills, able to prioritise competing demands and consistently meet tender/customer deadlines
  • Strong product and service understanding within relevant therapy areas, with the ability to interpret tender requirements and identify opportunities
