Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Contracts and Compliance Manager at a leading University based just outside of Edinburgh. The team are seeking to appoint a confident and detail-oriented person to support their Estates and Engineering team operating across the campus. This role involves ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and statutory regulations, managing contracts and maintenance strategies, and supporting the Head of Estates & Engineering in budget planning and operational coordination.

Within the role, you will oversee planned preventive maintenance, manage external contractors, and ensure compliance across the organization. The position requires strong collaboration and communication across departments to ensure efficient service delivery and minimal disruption to operations.

No specific qualification is required; however, experience in managing Hard FM M&E operations and staff is essential. Candidates with IOSH or NEBOSH certifications would be preferred. Candidates from a maintenance and contracts management background are ideal, but wider experience will also be considered.

This role offers a competitive salary of £40k+ with opportunities for flexible working and pension contributions.
