A recruitment agency is searching for a Contracts and Procurement Lawyer to support a Local Authority in Middlesbrough for 4-6 months. Candidates must be qualified solicitors or barristers with experience in commercial contracts and procurement, able to attend the office on a hybrid-working basis. The salary ranges from £40 to £55 per hour depending on experience.
LAW Absolute is recruiting on behalf of a Local Authority based in Middlesbrough for a Contracts and Procurement Lawyer on a temporary basis. The contract will last for 4-6 months.
You will be able to assist the senior lawyer with commercial contract matters, procurement matters, construction contract matters, and you will be able to represent the council’s legal services in meetings, courts, inquiries and appeals.
The client is looking for someone who has previous experience in commercial contracts and procurement, ideally from another local government environment.
The salary for this role will be £40-£55/hour umbrella, depending on experience.
