local authority, based in
Berkshire, which is seeking an experienced
Commercial Contracts and Procurement Lawyer to join their team. As part of a collaborative team, you will handle a diverse range of legal matters, ensuring compliance with regulations and fostering successful contractual relationships.
Role: Commercial Contracts and Procurement Lawyer
Location: Berkshire (hybrid)
Umbrella Rate: £60-£65ph
PAYE rate inc. Holiday: £52.76- £57.11ph
Contract Length: 3 months ongoing
Key responsibilities of the Commercial Contracts and Procurement Lawyer role:Handle a full caseload of commercial contracts and procurement law from start to completion.Provides legal services to the Council, its Committees and Service Units in the fields of Procurement, Contracts, Property and Employment and such other areas of law as may from time to time be assigned to the team.To carry out such other duties in the Service Unit as demand requires.Key RequirementsUK qualified solicitor or barrister, with a valid practising certificate, or chartered legal executive.5+ years of PQE in Commercial Contracts and Procurement law.Have demonstrable with public sector procurement processes.Proven experience in providing legal counsel on contracts & procurement matters.Benefits included with the Commercial Contracts and Procurement Lawyer position:Hybrid working.Weekly pay – rate offered will depend on experience and interview performance.Flexible hours.If this Commercial Contracts and Procurement Lawyer role sounds like an opportunity of interest for you or someone you know, then please feel free to reach out to Hugh Barnes on 01772208969, or email [emailprotected] .
