Qualifications

  • Proven leadership in logistics, warehouse, contracts or supply chain.
  • Proficiency with SAP or equivalent ERP; Lean and Daily Management.
  • Experience with MPS and S&OP for manufacturing vs delivery alignment.
  • Data-driven with KPIs; use Tableau for real-time visibility of end-to-end flow.
  • Strong commercial acumen: P&L, budgets, CAPEX.

  • Provide end-to-end ownership of contracts administration, warehouse operations and global outbound logistics.
  • Lead data-led transformation by building dashboards and KPIs for order-to-dispatch flow.
  • Chair daily governance meetings to monitor performance and resolve bottlenecks.
  • Drive Lean improvements to reduce waste and optimize warehouse layout and dock management.
  • Cultivate influential relationships with regional leaders and drive site growth improvements.
  • Contribute to Site Leadership Team strategy and commercial decisions affecting costs and inventory.
  • Manage complex export/import customs requirements and drive NPI processes across functions.

We are looking for a proactive Contracts and Logistics Manager to join our team in Stafford and lead key contract fulfilment, warehouse, dispatch, and global outbound logistics. This is a hands-on leadership role for a commercially minded expert who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to take full ownership of our end-to-end supply chain operations. You will be a visible leader on the shop floor, aligning planning, manufacturing, and warehouse teams to ensure customer commitments are met safely, compliantly, and on time.

Job Description
  • Operational Leadership & Safety: Lead a visible, hands-on presence on the shop floor, fostering a culture where safety, quality, and operational efficiency are core to every daily task.
  • End-to-End Ownership: Take full responsibility for contracts administration, warehouse operations, and global outbound logistics, ensuring all shipments are delivered safely, compliantly, and on time.
  • Data-Led Transformation: Transform departmental efficiency by building and maintaining Tableau dashboards and implementing rigorous, actionable KPIs to provide real-time visibility into the order-to-dispatch flow.
  • Performance Governance: Chair daily governance meetings to monitor performance, resolve bottlenecks, and bridge the gap between planning and execution.
  • Lean Improvement: Drive Lean principles across all workflows to eliminate waste, optimize warehouse layout, and streamline load planning and dock management.
  • Stakeholder Influence: Build strong, influential relationships with regional leaders, acting as the primary point of contact for supply chain issues and driving improvements to support site growth.
  • Strategic & Commercial Impact: Contribute to Site Leadership Team strategy, making commercial decisions that directly influence P&L, freight costs, and inventory values.
  • Compliance & Lifecycle: Manage complex export/import customs requirements, oversee the procurement of traded products, and drive New Product Introduction (NPI) processes across all functional areas.
Essential Candidate Requirements
  • Operational Experience: Proven leadership experience within a logistics, warehouse, contracts, or supply chain environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: Practical experience with SAP (or an equivalent ERP system) and a solid understanding of how to drive improvements using Lean principles and Daily Management tools.
  • Planning Expertise: Experience participating in MPS and S&OP processes to ensure alignment between manufacturing output and customer delivery.
  • Data-Driven Mindset: Ability to set rigorous KPIs and use Tableau to make evidence-based decisions that optimize end-to-end flow.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong foundation in business finance, including P&L management, budgets, and CAPEX investment.
  • Logistics Knowledge: In-depth understanding of import/export processes, shipping coordination, and customs compliance.
  • Leadership Style: An approachable leader who builds trust through action, manages conflict constructively, and inspires positive change.
  • Analytical Ability: Proven capacity to balance strategic oversight with a practical, visible presence on the shop floor to manage competing priorities effectively.
