Job summary

Portsmouth City Council is seeking a capable professional to support the development, implementation and monitoring of contracts for externally commissioned adult social care. The role focuses on procurement, contract performance and market development to deliver high-quality services.

Job description

The post holder helps build, launch and track contracts for externally bought-in adult social care. The work centres on procurement, service quality, market development and oversight, and performance management. Fit depends on substantial contract management or commissioning experience and a degree or equivalent, and sponsorship is not offered.
