Job summary

Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust seeks an experienced Contracts and Administration Officer for the All Age Continuing Care, Complex Care Division on a short-term basis. Band 6 role demanding independence, accuracy, and ability to prioritise within deadlines.

You will support Contract Managers with NHS contracts, performance reporting, and data accuracy, liaising with providers and internal teams to maintain reliable contract information.

Qualifications

  • Experience of NHS contracting, commissioning or a comparable public-sector environment.
  • Highly organised, confident communicating with stakeholders and maintaining accuracy with high-volume data.
  • Experience of Atamis/Health Family or a similar contract management system is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing and updating NHS contracts, variations, notices and supporting documents.
  • Checking documentation for accuracy, completeness and compliance with approved requirements.
  • Maintaining contract records in contract management system, clinical systems, registers and trackers.
  • Liaising with providers to obtain missing information and follow up outstanding actions.
  • Responding professionally to routine provider queries and escalating complex matters.
  • Supporting contractual reporting, provider submissions, quality indicators and annual uplift exercises.
  • Maintaining the Contracts Register and monitoring actions and deadlines.
  • Managing shared mailboxes and preparing correspondence, reports, spreadsheets and meeting documentation.
  • Coordinating meetings, recording clear minutes and following up agreed actions.
  • Working independently, managing competing priorities and contributing to service improvements.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Contracts and Administration Officer to join the Contracts Team within Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust's All Age Continuing Care, Complex Care Division on a short-term basis. This is a busy and varied Band 6 role requiring someone who can quickly understand priorities, work independently within agreed parameters and produce accurate work to deadlines. You will support Contract Managers with the administration, issue and variation of NHS contracts and help maintain complete and reliable contract information. You will work with colleagues across commissioning, finance, quality, safeguarding and operational services, as well as NHS-funded care providers and external partners. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys detailed work, takes ownership of tasks and wants to contribute to the effective management of services for people with complex care needs., The post holder will support the Contracts Team across the full range of contract administration and monitoring activities.,

The successful candidate will bring relevant experience of NHS contracting, commissioning or a comparable public-sector environment. You will be highly organised, confident communicating with stakeholders and able to maintain accuracy when managing detailed or high-volume information. Experience of Atamis/Health Family or a similar contract management system is desirable.
