Job description

A leading UKCS operator is looking to strengthen its Supply Chain Team in Aberdeen with multiple contract positions for experienced Contracts Analysts. These roles offer the chance to manage a varied portfolio of contracts across key operational and project areas. You’ll support the full contract lifecycle - from strategy and sourcing through to supplier management and close-out - ensuring compliance, commercial value, and strong supplier performance. The contracts run until the end of June 2026, with potential to extend.

Portfolios Available:

  • Operations and Maintenance.
  • Logistics and Rigs.
  • Drilling and Completions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, standards, procedures, and UKCS Joint Operating Agreements across the contract lifecycle.
  • Developing and managing Contract and Procurement (C&P) plans for assigned scopes.
  • Working with key stakeholders to develop strategies for routine operations, discrete work packages, campaigns, and projects.
  • Leading and managing sourcing activities including single-source justifications and competitive tenders.
  • Preparing detailed evaluations of tenders and make recommendations for contract awards.
  • Conducting commercial and contractual negotiations in line with established contract principles.
  • Developing commercial models that support business objectives and mitigate risk.
  • Managing post-award activities including supplier performance, contract compliance, variations, amendments, and close-outs.
  • Identifying opportunities to create value, reduce costs, and improve service delivery through contract management.
  • Maintaining effective supplier relationships and support issue resolution.
  • Providing contractual and commercial advice to the business.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely contract reporting.
  • Collaborating with SMEs across Legal, Tax, Audit, Finance, HSE, QA, and Technical Teams.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement by sharing best practices across the Supply Chain Team.
  • Carrying out other Contracts and Procurement tasks as required.

About You:

  • Proven contracts and procurement experience within a UKCS operator environment.
  • Strong understanding of UKCS supply chain practices, legislation, and compliance.
  • Experienced in LOGIC Model Contracts and standard contracting principles.
  • Confident negotiator with good influencing and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Commercially astute, well organised, and able to manage changing priorities.
  • Proactive in maintaining and developing technical knowledge.
  • Skilled in SAP, Ivalua, or similar contract management systems.
  • Degree qualified in Law, Quantity Surveying, CIPS, or equivalent experience.
