Qualifications

  • Experience in administration preferred.

Are you the kind of person who thrives on getting stuck in, ticking off tasks, and keeping things running smoother than freshly poured concrete? We're on the lookout for a Contract Administrator who's ready to roll up their sleeves and join our client's dynamic team.

Location: Broxburn
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm (with a 1-hour lunch break)
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Industry: Construction Salary: Highly Competitive

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Responding to enquiries (mostly by phone - your friendly voice is key!)
  • Completing PQQs (Pre-Qualification Questionnaires) - experience is beneficial, but not essential - training will be provided
  • Booking accommodation and travel for engineers
  • Logging enquiries for the Commercial Director
  • Handling Bills of Quantities - helpful if you've seen them before, but training is available
  • Assisting with basic invoicing and payment tracking
  • Updating internal systems and maintaining accurate records
  • Supporting document control - filing, scanning, and archiving project documents
  • Assisting with contract setup and administration
  • Liaising with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients
  • Helping with health & safety documentation and compliance tracking
  • General office admin - because someone's got to keep the wheels turning!
  • A motivated self-starter who doesn't wait to be asked - you just get on with it
  • Someone who can juggle tasks without dropping the ball
  • A team player who's also happy to work independently
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office and internal systems (training will be provided)
  • Construction industry experience is a bonus, but not necessary
  • PQQ and Bills of Quantities experience are helpful, but training will be provided
  • Full UK drivers license is required due to location
