Job summary

British Gas is seeking experienced White Goods Engineers (Contractors) to attend customers' homes and diagnose, repair and maintain washing machines, tumble dryers, dishwashers, refrigerators and microwaves.

You will work independently with strong support, hold a full UK driving licence and own tools, and enjoy ongoing contractor engagement with a trusted national brand. Competitive contractor rates and local work allocation are offered.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' proven hands-on experience repairing white goods appliances.
• Broad technical knowledge across multiple appliance types.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic capability.
• Excellent customer service skills; understand that how you fix matters as much as what you fix.
• Commitment to safe working and first-time-fix outcomes.
• Pride in workmanship and professionalism in customers' homes.

Responsibilities
