British Gas is seeking an experienced White Goods Engineer (Contractor) to diagnose and repair domestic appliances at customers' homes in Reading. You will work independently with support when needed, delivering same-day fixes and maintaining safety and quality in every visit.

The role offers a competitive day rate, paid induction, and ongoing contractor work with a trusted household name. A minimum of two years' hands-on appliance repair experience is required.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years proven hands-on experience repairing white goods.
• Broad technical knowledge across multiple appliance types.
• Strong fault finding and diagnostic capability.
• Excellent customer service and commitment to first-time fixes.

Were looking for experienced White Goods Engineers to support British Gas in delivering same‑day repair solutions across a range of domestic appliances.

The Role

Attend customer homes to diagnose and repair appliances including washing machines, dishwashers, refrigerators, and more. Working independently with full support when needed.
