Contractor Account Manager

Our clients are well-established manufacturers who create bespoke solutions for their clients across the UK. They are recruiting for a Contractor Account Manager to be responsible for their franchises!
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Act as an ambassador for the company, sharing company products and services with contractors, and fostering positive engagement with the company brand.
- Building and maintaining strong, supportive relationships with contractors.
- Engaging with new contractors in unfranchised territories, addressing their needs, and managing accounts effectively.
- Provide valuable support, assist in problem-solving, and ensure contractors have the resources and information needed to succeed in their work.
- Oversee contractor accounts, ensuring their needs are met, and provide ongoing support to maintain long-term satisfaction and loyalty.
- Look for ways to grow business with existing contractors and bring on new accounts.
- Identify top-performing contractors and suggest franchising opportunities as a way for them to expand their business and join the company’s network.
- Actively support contractors by answering questions, solving problems, and ensuring they have the right tools and knowledge to succeed in their projects.
- Keep up with industry trends and competitors to make sure we’re offering solutions that align with contractor needs.
- Work alongside other departments (such as Technical and Manufacturing) to ensure consistent support for contractors.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience in account management or business development.
- Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
- Effective communication, both written and verbal.
- Good problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of the trade or construction industry is desirable.
- Self-motivated with a focus on results and customer satisfaction.
- Comfort in discussing opportunities, including potential franchise availability with contractors when appropriate.
- Ability to manage your schedule and work independently.
- Product knowledge.
- Presentation skills.
- Full clean driving license.
Working Hours and Benefits:
- Monday – Thursday: 09:00am – 17:30pm.
- Friday: 09:00am – 17:00pm.
- 37hrs a week.
- 28 days annual leave, including bank holidays.
- 5% commission on first year sales.
- Bonus on contractors converted into clients.
