Yorkshire Water are currently recruiting a Contract Technician on an 18 month secondment who will provide expert technical advice in relation to effective and efficient management of the Standpipe Hire Scheme to enable the effective resolution of complex issues, disputes and pursuing illegal usage cases. The role will provide support to the Fire Service Liaison regarding repairs to Fire Service assets on the Water Distribution Network whilst maintaining the integrity of Yorkshire Water assets and being fully compliant with appropriate guidelines and regulations

As part of this role there will be an expectation that you will be required to travel to our Normanton site 1-2 times per month to attend meetings using your own vehicle.
Although we operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, it's important to us that we support flexible working patterns and job share options (when we can), to help you make the best of both your work and home life.
