Job description

Construction Administrator / Planner Up to £30,000 plus bonus

CBW have an immediate opening for a planner / helpdesk administrator to join a construction company in East Renfrewshire area.

This position will see you join the Installation and Projects team and be a fundamental support to the success of this department. The position will be varied and lots of new skills will be developed. You will be responsible for working closely with the Project Managers providing logistic planning to the field of engineers along with a variety of financial administration duties. This is a unique opportunity to join an expanding team and be part of a really positive and rewarding work culture.

Responsibilities/Person specification:
  • Liaise with contractors/tradesmen to ensure all work is carried out in an effective and timely manner
  • Carry out various admin duties such as scanning, filling and data input.
  • Booking engineers for work
  • Arranging travel and accommodation
  • Liaising with customers
  • Raising POs/Stock orders
  • Work closely with the Health and Safety Manager providing key administrative support
  • To assist with external body communications
  • Able to demonstrate attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills to manage own workload to expected standards
  • Previous experience in the construction/ renewables sector
