As a Contract Support Engineer, your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Offshore Personnel Management: Manage offshore-based personnel, ensuring their coordination and efficient deployment where applicable.
  • Client Liaison: Serve as a liaison between client's onshore and offshore representatives, maintaining regular communication channels and fostering productive relationships.
  • Team Collaboration: Fully participate as a member of the KenzFigee Service department and the clients' maintenance team, contributing to project planning and execution.
  • Budget Preparation and Tracking: Assist the client in the preparation of OPEX and CAPEX budgets, as well as monitor and track their ongoing progress.
  • Work Planning and Coordination: Prepare detailed work plans and schedules, collaborating with various company departments to ensure the availability of necessary resources for project execution.
  • Statutory Compliance: Ensure compliance with statutory regulations such as LOLER, HSE, DNV/Lloyds Class, etc., to maintain the highest safety and quality standards.
  • Invoices and Reports: Assist in the preparation of invoices and financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
  • Compile monthly management and technical reports, providing comprehensive project updates.
  • Onsite Presence: Travel to client's onshore and offshore facilities to conduct meetings, audits, and site surveys as required, strengthening client relationships and overseeing project progress.
  • Safety and Quality Management:Ensure that all works are carried out in accordance with KenzFigee's safety and quality management systems, prioritizing the well-being of our team and clients.
  • Additional Responsibilities:

    Undertake other duties as directed by the UK Service Manager, leveraging your abilities, training, and experience to support the team.

    Provide forward-looking revenue projections based on anticipated project works, contributing to the overall business strategy.

Contract Management, Technical Integrity, Cost Management, and Communication & Reporting responsibilities will also be integral parts of your role, ensuring efficient operations and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Engineering qualification (HNC or equivalent or above).
  • Previous experience in a similar position, demonstrating a solid understanding of contract support and project coordination.
  • Proficiency in budget preparation, tracking, and financial reporting.
  • Strong organizational skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients, internal stakeholders, and offshore personnel.
  • Ability to collaborate and work as part of a team, while also being self-motivated and proactive.
  • Knowledge of statutory regulations (LOLER, HSE, DNV/Lloyds Class, etc.) and commitment to ensuring compliance.
  • Familiarity with maintenance management systems and data collation.
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to travel to client facilities and offshore locations as required.
