Job summary

Build Recruitment Limited is recruiting a Contract Supervisor to oversee FRA remedial works and retrofit projects across social housing in South East London. You will lead site teams, coordinate subcontractors and ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to high standards in occupied properties.

The role focuses on managing health and safety, RAMS and client requirements, with strong resident liaison and reporting duties supporting the Contract Manager and wider team.

Qualifications

• Experience as Contract Supervisor or similar in social housing.
• Experience delivering FRA, fire safety or remedial works.
• Experience working in occupied residential properties.
• Strong subcontractor and site team management experience.
• Good understanding of health & safety, RAMS and quality requirements.
• Strong communication and resident liaison skills.

Responsibilities

Contract Supervisor - FRA & Retrofit

Salary: £52,000 - £58,000 package

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Contract Supervisor to join an established team delivering Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) remedial works and retrofit projects across social housing. This is a hands-on operational role, responsible for overseeing site teams and subcontractors, ensuring works are delivered safely, to programme and to a high standard across occupied residential properties.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise FRA remedial and retrofit works across social housing properties
• Manage subcontractors and site operatives across multiple workstreams
• Monitor programmes, quality and productivity
• Ensure works are delivered in line with RAMS, health & safety and client requirements
• Carry out site inspections and quality checks

Essential Experience

• Previous experience as a Contract Supervisor, Site Supervisor, Works Supervisor or similar
• Experience delivering FRA, fire safety or remedial works
• Experience working within social housing / occupied residential properties
• Exposure to retrofit, planned works or refurbishment programmes
• Strong subcontractor and site team management experience
• Good understanding of health & safety, RAMS and quality requirements
• Strong communication and resident liaison skills
