Job summary

Build Recruitment is seeking an experienced Contract Supervisor to oversee FRA remedial works and retrofit projects in South East London. The role focuses on delivering safe, on-time outputs across occupied social housing properties.

The successful candidate will lead site teams and subcontractors, ensure RAMS compliance and quality, and maintain constructive liaison with residents and clients throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Contract/Site Supervisor in FRA or remedial works.
• Experience in social housing / occupied properties.
• Strong subcontractor and site team management.
• Solid health & safety, RAMS and quality understanding.
• Excellent communication with residents and stakeholders.

Contract Supervisor FRA & Retrofit

Salary: £52,000 £58,000 package

Location: South East London

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Contract Supervisor to join an established team delivering Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) remedial works and retrofit projects across social housing.

This is a hands-on operational role, responsible for overseeing site teams and subcontractors, ensuring works are delivered safely, to programme and to a high standard across occupied residential properties.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise FRA remedial and retrofit works across social housing properties
• Manage subcontractors and site operatives across multiple workstreams
• Monitor programmes, quality and productivity
• Ensure works are delivered in line with RAMS, health & safety and client requirements
• Carry out site inspections and quality checks
• Liaise with residents, client representatives and other stakeholders

Essential Experience

• Previous experience as a Contract Supervisor, Site Supervisor, Works Supervisor or similar
• Experience delivering FRA, fire safety or remedial works
• Experience working within social housing / occupied residential properties
• Exposure to retrofit, planned works or refurbishment programmes
• Strong subcontractor and site team management experience
• Good understanding of health & safety, RAMS and quality requirements
• Strong communication and resident liaison skills
