Overview

Boden Group are recruiting on behalf of a leading FM provider for a Contract Supervisor for an NHS Trust based in Southampton.

Reporting to the Regional Account Manager, you will be expected to take responsibility for the supervision of the hard services provision across a portfolio of buildings within the Trust including clinical healthcare as well as non-clinical, academic and research facilitates.

The role will require you to directly supervise other operatives, work closely with clients, subcontractors and colleagues, exercising excellent team working skills and building positive relationships.

Salary: up to £50,000pa

Hours: 40 per week

Responsibilities
  • Overseeing and undertaking Planned Preventative Maintenance within agreed SLAs and completion of the appropriate paperwork and reports.
  • Overseeing and undertaking reactive and emergency breakdown tasks within agreed SLAs including completion of the associated paperwork and reports.
  • Line management responsibility for a team of engineers/ skilled operatives.
  • Working in partnership with the Helpdesk to ensure that resources are allocated correctly.
  • Being on and managing an call out rota to provide the client with full out of hours cover.
  • Partake in on call rota.
  • Ensuring that all tasks are completed within the contractual time scales and works are audited where required.
  • Proactively reduce energy consumption on site.
  • Overseeing sub-contractors with regards to standard of work and Health and Safety.
  • Carrying out all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Understanding and completing all work related documentation accurately and on time.
Knowledge & Experience
  • Experience of electrical/mechanical maintenance, testing & fault finding on a variety of equipment including air conditioning, plumbing, boiler plant, ventilation, pumps, generators, switchgear, cables, batteries, small power and lighting (where applicable).
  • Experience of working within a fixed site service delivery contract.
  • Preparation and submission of remedial works quotations.
  • An understanding of Service Level Agreements (SLA's), service targets and objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and ability to interpret management information.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety and safe working practices.
