Job description

WA Consultants is currently recruiting for a SOC Manager for a Public Sector client. The contract will be for 6 months initially, with potential for extension.

The ideal candidate will be able to:

1. Lead and manage a team of cybersecurity analysts.
2. Lead incident detection, triage, escalation, and resolution processes.
3. Serve as the escalation point for alerts and suggest improvements to monitoring systems.
4. Stay updated on the latest cyber threats and attack techniques.
5. Operate and optimize cybersecurity tools like SIEM.

Please note, this role is within IR35, and candidates must hold or be eligible for SC Clearance.
