Job summary

TLT LLP in Manchester is seeking a Contract Senior Associate to join the Retail Mortgage Services team on a 3-month basis. The role is hybrid and based in Manchester, with an umbrella daily rate arrangement.

The successful candidate will handle a varied contentious caseload for financial services clients, work with Legal Directors and Partners on complex disputes, and supervise junior team members while delivering strategic legal advice and contributing to client relationships across the network.

Qualifications

Qualified disputes and litigation solicitor with 1-5 PQE at a large firm.
Experience in financial services disputes preferred but not essential.
Strong analytical, communication and organisational skills.
Ability to manage workloads and deadlines autonomously.

Responsibilities

Run a varied contentious caseload for our key financial services clients.
Work with Legal Directors and Partners on progression of complex disputes.
Supervise junior members of the team.
Provide strategic and commercial legal advice across disputes and claims.
Participate in business development activities with clients and potential clients.
Collaborate with colleagues across office locations nationwide.
