Job summary

Venatu Consulting Ltd is seeking a Contract PSV Engineer to deliver repair and maintenance to high DVSA standards across the UK. You will diagnose mechanical, electrical and body systems, perform major unit changes, and complete thorough service documentation to a good standard.

Offering weekly pay, varied local and national opportunities, and roles inside/outside IR35 with supportive technical back-up and ongoing skill development.

Qualifications

• Recognised apprenticeship or proven work history.
• City and Guilds / NVQ level 3 minimum.
• 5 years workshop experience in similar roles.
• Additional qualifications in diagnostics, electrical/mechanical repair and welding advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repair and maintenance to DVSA standards.
• Diagnostics and repair of mechanical faults including steering, brakes, air systems, driveline.
• Diagnostics and repair of electrical and body systems using diagnostic equipment.
• Routine inspection and servicing to maintain roadworthiness and MOT standards.
• Carry out major unit changes and repairs where applicable.
• Complete service paperwork to a good standard.
• Meet and work to site health and safety requirements, work to customers SOPs.
