Job Opportunity: Project Manager for Data Migration

Project: Data Migration (Single source of truth)

Location: Remote

Duration: 6 months

Start Date: ASAP

Role Overview:

We’re seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a high-impact Databricks migration project, consolidating data from multiple platforms into a single source of truth. This is a critical initiative for our business, requiring a proactive and experienced leader.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the end-to-end migration of data platforms to our new Databricks platform, collaborating with various data teams and stakeholders.
2. Manage project timelines, risks, and dependencies across different data sources and platforms.
3. Ensure clear communication and alignment across technical, data, and business teams.
4. Deliver a robust, scalable, and strategic data environment to support decision-making.
5. Apply proven experience in data migration or modernization projects, preferably involving Databricks or similar cloud platforms.
6. Maintain strong project management practices to keep the program on track.
7. Engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders confidently.
8. Adopt a hands-on, delivery-focused approach to ensure project success.
9. Experience with Azure, AWS, Snowflake, or legacy data warehouses.
10. Knowledge of data governance and architecture principles.
