Job summary

Redline Group Ltd. seeks an experienced Contract Power Electronics Engineer to join a Horley-based team delivering advanced power conversion solutions for industrial applications.

You will work on a brand-new design project, taking concepts through in-house design to manufacture, with a focus on 3‑phase PFC front-end design, debugging, commissioning and validation in highly regulated environments.

Qualifications

• Experience in power electronics design for 3-phase PFC front ends.
• Proven debugging, commissioning and validation skills.
• Experience in highly regulated industries and IR35 awareness.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver next-generation power conversion and control solutions.
• Work on a brand new, in-house design project from concept to manufacture.
• Assess IR35 status for PSC engagement as required.

Job description

An innovative technology business at the forefront of advanced electronic systems development is seeking an experienced Contract Power Electronics Engineer, based in Horley, Surrey to support the design and delivery of next-generation power conversion and control solutions.

Working within a highly skilled engineering team, you will play a key role in the development of complex electronic products used across demanding industrial and technology-driven applications. You will work as part of a team on a brand new design project where everything is done in house from initial design through to manufacture.

As our client is considered exempt for IR35 purposes, the successful candidate will be responsible for assessing IR35 status, should you wish to operate via your own PSC.
