A leading automotive company in Bracknell is seeking a Project Management Officer to support digital projects. Responsibilities include project planning, documentation, governance presentation preparation, and budget management. The ideal candidate has prior PMO experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency in project management tools. The role offers a flexible working arrangement with a minimum of 35 hours per week.
At Honda we embrace inclusion in our policies, so whilst our contracts state that the hours are as required to fulfil the role with a minimum of 35 hours per week, we offer flexibility for when you work. The regular office hours are 08:00 – 16:00 Monday to Thursday with a half hour lunch break and 08:00 – 13:00 on a Friday. We offer flexibility of when you work with our daily flex-time start of between 07:00 and 11:00, provided there is no business requirement.
Whilst there is no contractual right to work from home, the flexibility we offer is that you can request to work from home 2 days per week, again providing there is no business requirement to attend the office.
Role
Responsible for supporting the successful delivery of digital projects and programmes by providing structured project management support, governance, and reporting. The PMO role works closely with project and programme managers, internal stakeholders, and external partners to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to agreed standards. The role requires strong organisational, communication, and analytical skills, with a particular focus on governance reporting and budget management.
