Job summary

Myn is recruiting a Pharmacovigilance Specialist for a contract role in a drug safety team in Reading, UK. You will handle adverse event reporting, support aggregate reporting and signal management, ensuring compliance with MHRA, EU and ICH PV requirements.

The position offers a daily rate of £350–£450, for an initial 6–12 month contract with likely extension. You will work with the team to maintain safety databases and support PV activities as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree in life sciences or healthcare field.
• 3–6 years of pharmacovigilance experience in pharma, biotech or CRO.
• Hands-on ICSR processing experience and GVP knowledge.
• Proficiency with safety databases and MedDRA coding.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Process ICSDRs from receipt to submission with MedDRA coding.
• Manage expedited reporting to MHRA and regulators within timelines.
• Support PSURs/PBRERs, DSURs and RMPs.
• Contribute to signal detection and literature screening.
• Maintain safety databases such as Argus and ArisGlobal.
• Support UK QPPV and PSMF maintenance where required.
