Job summary

Attega Group Ltd in Harpenden, Hertfordshire seeks an experienced Operations Manager to support daily operations. This full-time, permanent role offers a salary of £45,000–£55,000 DOE and requires a full UK Driving Licence.

Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will handle client enquiries, convert survey data into quotes, plan engineers' diaries, and manage RAMS, permits, and site updates to ensure smooth delivery and no surprises for clients and engineers.

Qualifications

• Drainage knowledge and experience.
• Experience writing RAMS.
• Job scheduling software experience (BigChange).
• Experience with Itouch systems.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Well organised and proactive.
• Taking ownership of day-to-day tasks.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to prioritise calmly.

Responsibilities

• Handle enquiries from phone calls and emails as the first client contact.
• Turn survey findings and site information into clear, profitable quotes and follow up.
• Plan diaries for survey and remedial engineers, balancing urgent and planned work.
• Produce job-specific risk assessments and method statements reflecting on-site realities.
• Organise projects with materials, plant, access, permits and client updates.
• Act as the link between clients and engineers to avoid surprises.

We are currently recruiting for a Operations Managerto join their team.

The main purpose of this Operations Manager role is to support the daily running of the operations of the business.

In return, our client is offering a salary of up to £55,000 P/A, depending on experience.

This role is full-timeand permanent.

Reporting to the Head of Operations your responsibilities will include:

• Taking enquires from phone calls or via emails you will be the first person the clients speak to
• Turn survey findings and site information into clear, accurate, profitable quotes, then follow them up
• Planning the diary's for our survey and remedial engineers, balancing urgent works with planed jobs, travel and the right skills for each job needs
• Produce job-specific risk assessments and method statements that reflect what's really happening on site
• Organising projects from materials, plant, access, permits and keeping the client updated while making sure nothing gets missed
• You will play a key role in being the link between clients and engineers supported so there are no surprises on either side.

The ideal candidate:
