Contract Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Corwen, Wales

Monday – Friday 3 Months+

£35.00 - £37.00 Per Hour

Our FMCG client is looking for 3 Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers to join their team.

1 Engineer to cover 06.00 – 14.00 & 1 Engineer to cover 14.00 – 22.00 & 1 Engineer to cover 22.00 – 06.00.

  • Fault diagnosis and breakdown repairs of plant and site service equipment
  • Planned maintenance and Maintenance requests.
  • Adherence to statutory checks and GMP
  • Involvement in CI and Capital projects
  • Upkeep of stores and all Engineering Technical documentation.
  • Support and coach relevant employees in all aspects of shared maintenance
  • Undertake training and up skilling programs as directed by business needs.
  • Provide effective 24/7 equipment care
  • Deliver effective communication Engineering meetings and handovers
  • Make decisions within the frame work of site policies and compliance to customer codes of practice
  • Working to KPIs that include Health & Safety, Cost (Performance /OEE), Quality (Customer Complaints/Right First Time), Service (On time in full), People
  • Continuous Improvement Techniques
  • Ability to work within a team and also on own intuition, building effective relationships with our internal customers: Health and Safety, Quality, Engineering, Production, Frontline Managers, Middle and Senior Managers

Skills & Experience Required

  • Recognised Engineer Apprenticeship (electrical, mechanical or multiskilled) or ONC/BTEC/HNC
  • Mechanical & electrical maintenance skills
  • FMCG background
  • PPM & Reactive maintenance experience
