Job summary

Zinc Network is seeking a full-time research researcher for a three-month contract (Nov–Feb). You will perform desk research and lead quantitative and qualitative studies, delivering concise reports with actionable insights.

Moldova-based, with UK working hours, the role requires localization knowledge and strong presentation skills. Ideal candidates have extensive market research experience, familiarity with social listening tools, and the ability to design end-to-end studies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of market research experience including designing and managing quantitative studies end to end
• Experience with social listening tools (e.g. Pulsar)
• Experience with hypothesising and analysing cluster analysis and/or developing qualitative typologies
• Ability to run audience segmentations (e.g. cluster analysis) would be advantageous
• Strong ability to create well written, insightful quant and qual reports requiring senior level revision
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint and Excel)
• Strong numeracy skills and confident in presenting to senior level clients
• Ability to work autonomously and progress work with minimal supervision
• Experience using AI tools for qual analysis and quant/qual alignment advantageous
• Fluency in Romanian and Russian; knowledge of Moldova's history, culture, and politics could be a plus

Responsibilities

• Undertaking background desk research and social listening
• Conducting language KIIs (Russian and Moldovan) with senior stakeholders
• Analyzing quantitative data to profile attitudinal audiences and motivations
• Leading storyboard sessions with research and strategy teams to build report narratives
• Creating visually compelling, narrative led reports with clear insights and recommendations
• Using AI tools to augment analysis and report design
• Presenting research findings to internal and external stakeholders
• Data checking and proofreading reports
