Job summary

Redline Group Ltd is seeking a Contract Mechanical Design Engineer (Solidworks) in Northamptonshire on a long-term contract. You will design 3D models in Solidworks, perform CFD/thermal analysis, and contribute to ruggedized enclosures for high-tech electronics.

The role requires experience in highly regulated industries such as aerospace/defence, familiarity with Vita standards, and the ability to work in a hybrid setup with security clearances (BPSS).

Qualifications

• Solidworks experience for 3D design.
• CFD/thermal analysis principles experience.
• Experience in highly regulated industries (aerospace/defence/military).
• Background designing ruggedized enclosures for electronics (metals/plastics).
• Familiarity with VITA standards is a plus.
