Job summary

We are currently working with an FMCG machinery manufacturing business in the Rossendale area who are looking for a Contract Mechanical Design Engineer outside IR35 to join them due to an increase in projects. You’ll have strong experience with Solidworks and working with Special Purpose Machinery within an FMCG setting.

• Strong experience with SolidWorks.
• Experience with Specialist Purpose Machinery in an FMCG setting.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality 3D and 2D designs using SolidWorks and ensure all supporting documentation is complete.
• Develop detailed project plans, provide regular progress updates, and ensure seamless communication with all stakeholders.
• Liaise effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and contractors to maintain smooth project flow and resource allocation.
• Oversee project completion, including commissioning, testing, and documentation handover to the client.
• In return you’ll receive a contract outside IR35 up to £35/hr ltd.
