Contracts Manager

As a Contracts Manager, you will work as a member of the Legal and Contracts Department. You will be responsible for negotiating, drafting, and overseeing sales contracts related to Sungrow’s projects, ensuring issues are resolved quickly and effectively.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the Contracts function for PV and ESS Business Units in the UK and other EU countries.
  • Review, draft, qualify, and negotiate various contractual documents including framework agreements, sales contracts, general terms & conditions, purchasing agreements, confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements, and letters of intent.
  • Identify risks and deviations from Sungrow’s contracting principles and obtain senior management approval when necessary.
  • Prepare and negotiate contractual qualifications with new and existing clients.
  • Summarize contracts and risks to ensure project personnel are aware of obligations, risks, and objectives.
  • Negotiate and resolve contractual and financial disputes on live projects, advising Commercial Managers.
  • Maintain adherence to policies, processes, and procedures within Sungrow’s Business Management System.
Your Profile

We are looking for candidates with:

  • A degree in Law or relevant Business qualification.
  • Experience in PV, Energy Storage, Gas, and/or Construction industries.
  • Strong knowledge of Contract Law and legal/contractual drafting skills.
  • Experience in a Contracts or Legal department.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Professional credibility and a solutions-oriented approach.
  • Initiative, ownership, and teamwork skills.
  • Attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Experience in report writing and presentations; Chinese language skills are a plus.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills to meet deadlines.
