Job summary

Portakabin Ltd is seeking a Contract Manager to join our GB Healthcare team, operating on a nationwide basis. The role offers an annual salary up to 67,000 with a bonus up to 10%. The position involves regular travel and overnight stays to support the business needs.

The contract is permanent with a company car, private medical cover, 25 days leave plus holidays, and potential to buy more days. You will lead project delivery, manage multi-disciplinary teams and maintain project margins.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
• Project management qualification or equivalent experience.
• Experience delivering large, complex construction or modular projects.
• Strong knowledge of financial control in project delivery and cost management.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership for successful project management and delivery of allocated contracts, ensuring safety, on time delivery, to spec and budget.
• Act as a subject matter expert in project delivery and share knowledge with colleagues.
• Lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to meet contract objectives and deliverables.
• Maintain or improve project margins and cash flow through planning, budgeting and risk control.
• Produce regular reports for stakeholders analysing progress against programme and costs.
• Identify, manage and mitigate project risks and improve outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with contractual terms and manage variations and disputes as required.
• Build strong customer relationships as the main point of contact for allocated contracts.
