Portakabin Ltd is seeking a Contract Manager to join our GB Healthcare team, operating nationwide. You will own the delivery of large or complex contracts, lead multi-disciplinary teams and ensure projects meet safety, time, budget and client specifications.

The role includes travel nationwide, potential overtime and a competitive package with a car, pension, private medical scheme and 25 days’ leave plus holidays. Interviews to be held in the coming weeks.

Formación

• Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
• Project management qualification, or equivalent experience.
• Experience delivering large and complex construction or modular projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of project delivery methodologies and processes.
• Strong knowledge of financial control in project delivery, cost management and final accounts.
• Experience leading and/or coordinating multi-disciplinary project teams.
• Experience managing third-party suppliers/contractors.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and procedures.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve issues during project delivery.

Responsabilidades

• Take ownership for successful project management and delivery of large/complex contracts, ensuring safety, on time, on budget and customer satisfaction.
• Act as SME in project delivery; share knowledge to support best practice.
• Lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to deliver contract objectives with clear roles and deliverables.
• Maintain or improve project margins and cash flow via planning, budgeting and risk control.
• Produce regular reports for stakeholders; analyse progress against programme and milestones.
• Identify, manage and mitigate project risks; maintain risk register and pursue improvements.
• Ensure compliance with contract terms; manage variations and resolve disputes as needed.
• Build strong customer relationships; be main contact for allocated contracts.
• Support bid/pre-construction activity with operational expertise.
• Provide coaching and line management for contract team where applicable.
