Portakabin Ltd is seeking a Contract Manager to join our GB Healthcare team. This permanent role involves nationwide project delivery with regular travel and overnight stays. The position offers a competitive annual salary up to £67,000 plus an on-target bonus of up to 10% and a company car.

Benefits include a private medical scheme, 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays and the option to buy an additional 5 days. Interviews will be conducted during or before the week commencing TBC.

Formación

• Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
• Project management qualification or equivalent experience.
• Experience delivering large and complex construction or modular projects.
• Strong knowledge of financial control in project delivery, cost management and final accounts.
• Experience leading and coordinating multi-disciplinary project teams.
• Experience managing third-party suppliers and contractors.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and procedures.
• Strong problem-solving skills with ability to resolve issues during project delivery.

Responsabilidades

• Take full ownership for the successful project management and delivery of allocated large or complex contracts, ensuring completion safely, on time, to specification, to budget and to customer satisfaction.
• Act as a subject matter expert in project delivery, sharing knowledge with colleagues to support best practice across the function.
• Lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to achieve contract delivery objectives, ensuring clarity of roles and deliverables.
• Maintain or improve project margins and cash flow through budgeting, risk control and commercial decision-making.
• Produce regular reports for stakeholders, analysing progress against programme, costs and milestones.
• Identify, manage and mitigate project risks, maintain risk registers and act on improvement opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with contractual terms, manage variations and resolve disputes where required.
• Build strong customer relationships as main point of contact for allocated contracts.
• Support bid and pre-construction activity as required, contributing operational expertise.
• Provide coaching and, where applicable, line management for professionals within the contract team.
