Job Title: Contract Manager - Fire Doors
Location: Midlands

Responsibilities:

  • Liaising closely with the whole operational team to ensure a high standard of contract set up, smooth delivery and handover in terms of the remote/office management of the works.
  • Ensuring all Budget and programme information is kept current and aligned with those set out in the Commercial Handover of the Project.
  • Ensuring all on site practices are being adhered to and insist on a 'right first time' culture.
  • Ensure progress and variation information is being captured for accurate reporting. Ensuring that assigned Projects are correctly mobilised and planned in terms of a budget and a clear scope communicated to Supervisors and Operatives.
  • Ensuring all quality standards are being adhered to with QA checks and works sign off on sie.
  • Ensuring Projects are fully stocked with appropriate materials and access equipment, whilst minimising waste
  • Assisting Commercial Team with bringing together invoice/application information
  • Resolving Quality Assurance fails, site issues, customer disputes and complaints
  • Ensuring appropriate resourcing of contracts with relevantly trained operatives and quality suppliers.

Experience:

  • Passive fire protection experience with fire doors
  • Planning and scheduling works of others to deliver
  • Monitoring and maintaining productivity, health and safety and quality standards

Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 5 or above in Passive Fire Protection
  • ILM Level 3 or equivalent
  • SMSTS
