Contract Manager – Estate Services
£450 per day (Inside IR35)
Full-Time – 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

We’re working with a respected public sector organisation to recruit an experiencedContract Managerto take ownership of estate services across a large and diverse housing portfolio. This pivotal position is ideal for someone who thrives ondelivering high standards, managingcleaning and grounds maintenance contracts, and drivingcontinuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor performance ofcleaning and grounds maintenance contracts, ensuring KPIs and SLAs are consistently met.
- Lead and support a team of4 Contract Monitoring Officers, overseeing inspections and ensuring quality standards.
- Hold monthly performance meetings with contractors, producing clear and actionable reports.
- Analyse service delivery data and implement improvement initiatives.
- Engage with residents, responding to complaints and enquiries with effective solutions.
- Ensure full compliance withHealth & Safety legislationand safe working practices.
- Work in partnership with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve service delivery issues.
- Support projects that align with environmental sustainability and climate objectives.
- Attend occasional resident and stakeholder meetings, sometimes outside normal working hours.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience inestate services contract management– cleaning and grounds maintenance essential.
- Strong track record managing customer-facing contract monitoring teams.
- Confident working with KPIs, performance management, and reporting processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Strong data analysis capabilities and high-level IT skills (MS Office, contract systems).
- Ability to identify service improvements and deliver change.
- Flexible and proactive, able to work to tight deadlines in a busy environment.
