Job summary

Sphere Solutions are working with a leading Highways & Civil Engineering contractor to recruit an experienced Contracts Manager to join their South West Civils team.

Based in Bristol, this role oversees highways and civil engineering projects from Exeter to Gloucester, typically valued between £1 million and £15 million, with leadership of up to three projects and a focus on programme, quality, safety and commercial targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a Contracts Manager role.
• Proven background in highways, civil engineering or infrastructure.
• Experience managing multiple projects and operational delivery teams.
• Experience working with framework agreements and competitive tenders.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the South West from Exeter to Gloucester.

Sphere Solutions are working with a leading Highways & Civil Engineering contractor to recruit an experienced Contracts Manager to join their South West Civils team.

This is a key leadership role overseeing the successful delivery and growth of highways and civil engineering projects from Exeter to Gloucester, with projects typically valued between £1 million and £15 million.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage up to three projects simultaneously

• Provide leadership and support to Project Managers and site teams
• Support the business in securing new work through frameworks and competitive tenders

About You

Package

• Salary £65,000-£70,000 depending on experience
