Annual salary: up to £42,840.00

Responsive Repairs Manager – Milton Keynes

Location: Milton Keynes

Salary: £42,840 per annum

Hours: 42.5 hours per week

Fulltime – permanent Monday – Friday

Company van, fuel, equipment and uniform will be provided

At Mears, we provide tailored rapid-response and planned maintenance services to over 70 local authorities, ALMOs, and Housing Associations across the UK.

We are the largest provider of repairs, maintenance, and regeneration services in the sector—and proud to put people at the heart of what we do.

We’re now looking for an experienced and motivated Responsive Repairs Manager to lead our team in Milton Keynes, managing services across occupied properties to ensure quality, safety, and resident satisfaction.

Role Criteria
  • End-to-end management of day-to-day and emergency repairs across a range of occupied homes
  • Line management of four supervisors, including performance reviews, one-to-ones, and daily briefings
  • Oversight of KPIs, reporting, and service delivery standards
  • Handling client queries and managing resident complaints effectively
  • Supporting and engaging operatives and branch teams to achieve high-quality outcomes
  • Office-based in Milton Keynes with regular site visits
  • Full valid driving license
