Contracts Manager/Director (RC Frame/Groundworks) London 130k+

About the company:

This company is a highly regarded and respected private specialist subcontractor within Groundworks & RC Frames with over 30 years of establishment. Originally starting as a Plant Hire contractor, they expanded into small groundworks packages and had a turnover of around £30m before focusing heavily on concrete structures in 2003. Currently, they have a turnover of £80m, with 70% derived from structures.

About the role:

The client seeks a hands-on Contracts Manager capable of working closely with existing clients and forging new relationships. The ideal candidate will have an engineering background, understanding civil engineering, especially concrete structures and groundworks. They should liaise effectively with senior management, commercial and design teams, as well as construction managers and engineers. The candidate must demonstrate professionalism, articulate communication, and the ability to manage sites effectively.

Requirements:

• Degree-qualified Civil Engineer
• Experience/exposure to groundworks and RC frame projects
• Professional and coherent communication with clients
• Ability to work under high pressure with minimal fuss
• Previous experience as a Contracts Manager in a similar company
