We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager with a background supporting Operations Procurement in the Security Screening category team, helping Heathrow provide Passengers with the best airport experience in the world while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and pioneering aviation security.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Contract Manager to support Operations Procurement within the Security Screening category team. You will help Heathrow deliver exceptional passenger experiences, maintain regulatory compliance, and lead innovation in aviation security.

Your responsibilities will include managing multiple, concurrent projects in a fast-paced, business-critical environment. You will oversee sourcing, procurement, contract assurance, implementation, and post-contract management activities. A key focus will be on end-to-end procurement management, emphasizing Contractual Delivery, Supplier Relationship Management, and Sustainability. You will ensure the delivery of contract assurance services, adhering to best practices in contract formation, administration, and compliance monitoring within governance and audit frameworks.

You will support the creation and execution of activities such as:

• Pre-contracting strategies
• Supplier negotiations
• Drafting and executing Products & Services Framework Agreements
• Work Packages and Standalone Agreements, including contractual amendments and supporting procurement governance

Working closely with stakeholders, you will drive value for Heathrow by maximizing delivery, minimizing risks, achieving cost savings, fostering supplier relationships, and improving operations.

Your role will involve

• Delivering robust contractual documentation, including drafting, negotiation, liaising with legal teams, and supporting contract assurance and amendments for both services and products.
• Developing well-informed category plans and strategies to present to senior stakeholders, utilizing innovative commercial models, market-leading technology, and trends to ensure regulatory compliance and competitive advantage.
• Executing sourcing activities in line with Heathrow governance, promoting best practices.
• Maintaining processes for supplier management, claims, benefits, savings, and continuous improvement, while meeting contractual, regulatory, risk, and exit strategy requirements.
• Managing and owning the SRM process for key stakeholders up to the executive level, both internal and external.

Essential Skills

• Proven experience managing the full procurement lifecycle and executing contracting models.
• Expertise in drafting, managing, reviewing, and negotiating contracts.
• Experience delivering multiple projects aligned with stakeholder requirements, SLAs, targets, and KPIs, through strong supplier and stakeholder relationship management.
• Evidence of contract and supplier management experience.
