Job Title: Contract Manager

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Contract Manager to join the team.

Role Summary:
  • Responsible for contract management of staff, operation, and maintenance of electrical and mechanical plants/services, project works, and building performance.
  • Manage the Engineering team daily, ensuring compliance with CBRE disciplinary processes and procedures.
  • Direct, instruct, and manage all CBRE staff and SSPs, ensuring adherence to working practices.
  • Complete weekly operations reports and attend weekly meetings with the client.
  • Report any issues impacting building operations immediately to CBRE and senior management.
  • Review operating procedures regularly, recommending improvements for working practices and emergency procedures.
  • Liaise with the client and CBRE Area Manager regarding contract issues.
  • Ensure staff are knowledgeable about the operation of critical and non-critical systems.
  • Maintain quality standards across facilities.
  • Communicate and implement business policies and processes effectively.
  • Optimize staffing structures for cost efficiency and service quality.
  • Collaborate with other Operations Managers to develop the business and support team efforts.
  • Develop financial plans for revenue, profit, and cost reduction, ensuring targets are met or exceeded.
  • Implement control systems to meet statutory, policy, and contractual obligations.
  • Maintain a customer-focused approach and strong relationships with key clients.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and support to team members.
  • Communicate effectively through various channels, including reports, meetings, and briefings.
  • Create a learning environment with training and development plans to enhance team skills and potential.
  • Attend on and off-site training, potentially requiring nights away.
Experience Required:
  • Experience in the building services industry.
  • HV Authorized Person (preferable).
  • Formal electrical or mechanical training at least to City and Guilds level; ONC/HNC or higher preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to lead and motivate teams.
  • Understanding of health and safety issues; NEBOSH/IOSH or equivalent training desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Good command of English and Mathematics.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality service delivery.
