Job description

We are looking for an experienced Contract Manager to oversee and develop balanced risk profiles within a large offshore wind project. This position will involve managing contract strategy and execution, mitigating commercial risks, and maintaining strong relationships with contractors and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead contract management for offshore transport and installation projects.
  2. Ensure compliance with project standards, processes, and procedures.
  3. Identify and manage contractual risks, opportunities, and threats, and implement control measures.
  4. Oversee procurement and legal activities related to project contracts.
  5. Drive continuous improvement in commercial strategies and contractual terms.
  6. Lead and mentor a team of contract managers.
  7. Develop strategies for resolving disputes and claims efficiently.
  8. Coordinate across departments and teams to ensure effective delivery of contracts.

Required Experience & Skills:

  1. Strong background in offshore transport and installation technologies.
  2. Proven experience managing complex offshore projects and multidisciplinary teams.
  3. Deep understanding of offshore industry standards, regulations, and safety/environmental legislation.
  4. Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
  5. Strong interpersonal, report writing, and presentation skills.
  6. Experience in leading diverse, multi-cultural teams.
  7. Degree in engineering or related field (Mechanical, Electrical, Marine, Naval Architecture) or equivalent.
