The role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Contract Managers to join our Procurement and Commercial (P&C) team supporting the ASTI & RIIO T3 Onshore Capital Delivery programme.

Reporting to the Procurement & Commercial Manager, you will provide the necessary pre and post-contract procurement and commercial support to some of the largest projects within our portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity to grow within the SSE JV portfolio and contribute to the continued growth of this area of the business.

You will
  • Support P&C Manager / Senior CM in negotiating contract T&Cs for projects of significant value (from £50M to £500M) and subsequent commercial management of the delivery phase.
  • Negotiate contract prices and ensure all contract prices can be substantiated and provide value for money to consumers.
  • Have extensive stakeholder engagement and management skills, with the ability to influence, lead, and resolve disputes along with problem solving.
  • Be involved in cost and forecast management via regular cost reporting and ensuring change management procedures are adhered to, including payment and expenditure management, and cost estimating.

  • Comply with all safety policies and procedures, promoting safety and safe working practices internally and externally to improve safety performance.
You have
