Overview

Contracts Manager - Exeter

I am searching for a Contract Manager to join an award winning independent regional contractor, to oversee projects up to GBP15million. You will join a highly skilled and dedicated team carrying out minor works, major works, refurbishment and new-build schemes in multiple sectors Residential, Commercial, Education, Industrial, Community/Leisure & Healthcare.

As a roving Contract Manager, responsibilities with include:

• Reporting to the Senior Management Team to make them aware of any issues that need attention.
• Lead and resource site-based teams, ensuring all sites are meeting health & safety regulations and implementing training if it is not.
• Maintain financial performance of each project with overall responsibility for all site-based work and its productivity.
• Direct and supervise activity of the workforce, including all subcontractors, to ensure works are completed on time, to the desired quality standards and within budget.

Essential criteria

• Must have significant experience working as a Contract or Senior Project Manager delivering projects up to GBP10m in the desired sectors.
• SMSTS, First Aid at Work & CSCS is essential, NVQ Level 6 in Construction Management is preferred.
• Must be a nature problem solver with the ability to lead by example.

My client delivers projects around an hours distance from their regional office in Exeter, suitable candidates but be willing to travel when required.
