Job summary

Mears Group is seeking a Contract Manager for the Dartford area to lead the Empty Homes / Voids & Disrepair contract and oversee end-to-end delivery. You will drive performance, manage programmes, and ensure compliance with health and safety requirements while maintaining strong client relationships.

The role requires line management experience, a track record in voids, and a hands-on approach to delivering quality outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Line management experience in housing/unoccupied properties.
  • Experience delivering responsive repairs within voids and disrepair.
  • Strong track record in cost control, planning and client liaison.

Responsibilities

  • Handle end-to-end management of Responsive repairs across occupied and vacant homes.
  • Lead and mentor four supervisors with performance reviews and daily briefings.
  • Monitor KPIs, service delivery standards and contract compliance.
  • Respond to client queries and effectively manage resident complaints.
  • Support branch teams to achieve high-quality outcomes and ensure safety compliance.

Managing works to programme time frames, producing project* Ensure compliancy and adherence to health & safety regulations, Mears standard operating procedures Mears values and quality assurance accreditations.
