Equans Contract Manager Role
Equans is seeking a Contract Manager to join our team in the North West on a permanent basis, overseeing multiple mobile contracts.
This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, offering a competitive salary, a company vehicle or allowance, bonus, and benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with statutory and company procedures across stakeholder groups.
- Manage risks related to SHEQ through RAMS, PPE, training, and procedures to ensure safety.
- Develop relationships with operational personnel, partners, suppliers, and subcontractors to enhance performance.
- Build sustainable relationships with clients and associated organizations.
- Oversee service delivery across multiple locations, ensuring resource collaboration.
- Maintain a clear business plan for the contract.
- Set, monitor, and improve SLAs and KPIs, adding value where possible.
- Ensure mobile teams meet SLAs and KPIs for technical and service delivery.
- Plan, implement, and monitor standards for PPM and reactive works.
- Manage financial performance and ensure legislative compliance, escalating issues as needed.
- Develop and review direct reports through training and performance reviews.

Candidate Requirements
- Experience in contract management, building services, and legislation.
- Background in Facilities Management and technical knowledge.
- HVAC qualifications and experience.
- Ability to remain calm in extreme circumstances.
- Relevant qualifications (H&S, M&E, Water Systems, Legionella).
- Experience with CAFM systems, valid driver’s license.
- Strong stakeholder interaction skills.
- Self-motivated, team player, adaptable.
