As we continue on the path of another successful year, our Capital (planned works/Refurbishment) business has secured a new contract, and we are excited to offer a new opportunity for a Contract Manager based in Birmingham.

The Contract Manager role:

• Lead the operational delivery of a kitchen and bathroom contract.
• Manage a direct labour team, motivating, incentivising, and developing team members, including recruitment, onboarding, and induction.
• Instill ownership and responsibility within your team to ensure work is delivered to standards, on time, and within budget.
• Prioritise health and safety, ensuring measures are in place and monitored.
• Build and maintain relationships internally and externally to facilitate successful contract delivery.
• Manage your time effectively to visit sites regularly and ensure procedures and reports are up to date.

What will you bring as a Contract Manager?

• Relevant experience in a similar role within the housing refurbishment sector, specifically managing kitchen and bathroom programs.
• Experience managing direct labour, including team development and performance management.
• Understanding of cost and risk management, with experience working to budgets.
• SMSTS qualification (preferred) and a solid understanding of health and safety requirements (essential).
• A trade background (all trades considered to NVQ level 2 or equivalent) is preferred.
• Ability to build successful relationships with customers, clients, and employees.
